Located in Gaya, CUSB is one of the 11 newer central universities established under the Central Universities Act 2009 and accepts CUET UG scores for all UG admissions. CUSB offers among the lowest tuition fees in the central-university tier (UG fees start at Rs 12,000 per year) and runs an active hostel system with separate boys and girls residences on its 300-acre Panchanpur campus.

About Central University of South Bihar (CUSB)

Established in 2009, the Central University of South Bihar shifted to its permanent 300-acre Panchanpur campus in Gaya in 2018. With NAAC A grade accreditation (cycle 1, 2023) and 14 schools and 30 academic departments, CUSB is increasingly chosen by Bihar, Jharkhand and Eastern UP students who want a central-university degree without the JNU/BHU competition.
