Refund Policy

At CLAT Gurukul, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted for our courses and services.

1. Online Courses — 7-Day Cooling-Off Period

For all online courses purchased through cuetgurukul.com, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the purchase date, provided:

  • You have not accessed more than 25% of the course content (lessons, videos, materials)
  • You have not attempted any mock test included in the course
  • You have not downloaded any study materials

After 7 days from the date of purchase, or if you have accessed more than 25% of the content, no refund will be issued.

2. Offline (Classroom) Courses

For offline courses at our Patna centres:

  • Before first class: Full refund minus Rs 500 processing fee
  • Within 3 days of first class: 75% refund of the fee paid
  • After 3 days of first class: No refund

Study materials (books, modules, bags) that have been issued are non-refundable. Their cost will be deducted from the refund amount.

3. Mock Test Series

Mock test series (Siddhi plans) are non-refundable once you have attempted your first mock test. If no mock test has been attempted, a refund may be requested within 7 days of purchase.

4. Free Courses

Free courses (Bodh Demo, Prabodh Foundation, Daily MCQ Practice, CGSAT) do not involve any payment and are therefore not subject to refunds.

5. Scholarship and Discounted Courses

If you received a scholarship discount (via CGSAT or other programmes), the refund amount will be calculated based on the actual amount paid, not the original course price.

6. EMI / Instalment Payments

If you are paying via instalments:

  • Refund eligibility follows the same rules as above based on the total amount paid so far
  • Outstanding instalments are cancelled upon refund approval
  • If you stop paying instalments without requesting a formal refund, your course access will be suspended but no refund will be processed for amounts already paid

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send an email to clatgurukul@gmail.com with:

  • Your registered name and Student ID (CG-XXXXXX)
  • Course name and date of purchase
  • Reason for requesting a refund
  • Payment receipt or transaction ID

8. Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method:

  • Online payments (Razorpay): Refunded to the original UPI, card, or bank account
  • Cash payments: Refunded via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) to the account you provide

9. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Study materials (books, modules, notebooks) once issued or dispatched
  • Shipping charges for materials
  • Convenience fees or payment gateway charges
  • Courses where more than 25% content has been accessed

10. Disputes

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate the matter by writing to clatgurukul@gmail.com with “Refund Dispute” in the subject line. We will review your case within 5 business days.
